ST. FRANCIS SOUP KITCHEN

The St. Francis Catholic Kitchen in Santa Cruz has been feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and providing shelter to those in need since 1982 — founded in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, with dignity and love at the heart of everything they do. They operate both a soup kitchen and a transitional shelter program, serving some of Santa Cruz's most vulnerable residents.

Like many nonprofits, St. Francis operates on a limited budget — which means every dollar spent on technology needs to count. We redesigned and rebuilt their site in WordPress so staff could update it themselves without needing technical help, freeing up time and resources for what matters most. We cleaned up and reorganized the content to make their programs clear and accessible to people in need, and set up online donations to make giving easy for supporters. It's been a privilege to support their work for over five years, and they remain a valued client today.
